This event highlighted research and communication activities happening in the Bay Area and will be followed by an interactive dialogue among those attending with a focus on what’s missing in the research, how best to communicate the research, and how we can work together to improve the health and the environment of our communities.

Featuring presentations by members of the Bay Area Breast Cancer and the Environment Center,
Dr. Robert Hiatt, Dr. Zena Werb, Casandra Aldsworth, Dr. Lawrence Kushi, Dr. Gayle Windham and Janice Barlow, and a panel discussion led by researchers from across the Bay Area including Dr. Esther John of the Cancer Prevention Institute of California, Dr. Barbara Cohn of the Public Health Institute, Dr. Rudolph Rull of the Cancer Prevention Institute of California, and Dr. Brenda Eskenazi of the University of California, Berkeley.
